The video journalist will work with your Daily News Video team to stay on top of the news of the day, helping set, verify and edit user generated content (UGC). You will also produce immediate update that take our audience to the scene for ongoing stories, and will look for opportunities to advance the news with scoops. You will work in collaboration with the Visual Investigations team on hard-hitting storylines and with other disks across the newsroom to identify newsworthy angles through UGC and open source content. You will also publish video material on-site in a variety of formats, including linear video and visual driven text articles. Your work can entail setting up and monitoring live video feeds and clipping agency video.
